Robert S. Cohen was a faculty member at the Heckerling Institute on Estate Planning on January 27, 2010, in Orlando, Florida. The Heckerling Institute is the nation’s leading conference for estate planning professionals. Bob presented a paper on prenuptial and postnuptial agreements and participated in a panel on the topic, “For Better or Worse: What’s Right About a Pre-Nuptial Agreement”.

 

 

Robert S. Cohen presented a paper and was a panelist at the International Bar Association’s International Wealth Transfer Practices conference in London, England, on March 1, 2010. The International Bar Association is the world’s leading organization of international legal practitioners, bar associations, and law societies. Bob represented the United States on a panel entitled, “The International Pre-Nuptial Agreement – Myth or Reality?”.


Michele A. Katz spoke at the New York County Lawyers’ Association on a panel with Justice Deborah Kaplan and Donald Frank, Esq. at a full-day course on Civil Trial Practice on March 12, 2010.  Michele presented the section entitled, “Preliminary Conference and Settlement in Matrimonial Litigation.”
