began his law practice in New Jersey in 1977 and began practicing in New York in 1982, after New York adopted the Equitable Distribution Law in divorce cases. In his more than
30 years practicing matrimonial law, Mr. Grubman has litigated complex matrimonial and custody cases at trial and on appeal. He also has a wealth of experience negotiating prenuptial agreements.
As a member of the Matrimonial Law Committee of the New York County Lawyers Association during the 1980s, Mr. Grubman helped further to define New York's Equitable Distribution Law and to develop policies and procedures for the handling of matrimonial cases in Manhattan. Mr. Grubman is a member of the New York State Bar Association Family Law Section and the New York County Lawyers Association
Matrimonial Law Section.
